Merry Christmas from our ranch to yours. May your Christmas be filled with love and sharing. May the love of God who gave us the ultimate gift of Jesus fill your heart with wonder and gratitude this holiday season.

What’s one thing I’ve been learning about lately? How to just live life. To not complain.... To not get stuck in the what was or if only’s To not look beyond all I have to what I wish was. To not spend my time on things that don’t matter. To not waste my time on things that don’t add to it or bring God glory. To embrace the community around me. To love those in my life. To not remain in unhealthy relationships or patterns because of the fears of moving forward. To not just exist but live intentionally and passionately. To not live from a place of hurt or unmet expectations. To not wait until this or that before I begin living life. To no longer live weary and overwhelmed. To not get caught up in all I have to do or should be doing that I miss enjoying what is. Because if you’re like me, It’s easy to lose sight of how to live. We get distracted, Purposeless, Weary, Overwhelmed, Greedy, Anxious about many things, The list could go on. But to live life is different. To live is having a heart full of thankfulness and expectation for all the Lord holds for this day. To live is letting go and trusting God To live is loving those before us rather than pushing past them to get somewhere else. To live is not seeing hard moments or obstacles as hinderances but rather opportunities to become more like Jesus To live is seeing others as glimpses of Jesus To live is to walk closer with Jesus each step of our day. To live is to not try to make our lives comfortable but to live for Gods glory, however we can where we are and with what we have. So I’m learning to not get caught up in the ways our world is trying to entice us into but to remain rooted in the Lord. That regardless what life may or may not look like, to live it wholeheartedly for the Lord. So may we rise up and make the most out of our life. May we live boldly and fiercely. And for those of us who know Jesus as Lord, May we act like we are kings children and live purposefully. We are children of the most high God, may our lives be a testimony. Our life is meant for more. May you too, learn with me how to live life and no longer be diluted. Doubt is contagious but so is hope and faith.

Thanks for the refocus! So easy to get caught up in the drama of these times.

Gotta love these Canadians. Bought my stallion a couple years ago. He had always been used as a breeding stallion and never trained for saddle or harness. He... is in his 20's now. I lent him out for breeding for a couple months and this young trainer decided to work with him. In no time at all she had him trained to ride, rein, trot and lope on command and behave himself on a trail ride with other horses. What a tribute to the Canadian horse ... their tempermant and personality. This amazing young lady will be one to watch for in the training circles in the years to come.
