Whissell virtually celebrated our Safety, Service and SPIRIT of Values award recipients last night. Thank you for your tremendous efforts and long service!

Despite the weather the last week, we are are still moving dirt. Forecast looks better for the next two weeks. Let’s hope it stay nice into December!

Hello Summerland! Whissell will now be operating in the BC desert after being awarded the Summerland sanitary landfill contract.

We are very excited to be a part of one of the coolest (and fastest!) projects being built in the country right now. Whissell broke ground this morning on the new Rocky Mountain Mortorsport facility Race Track near Carstairs, AB. Five K-TEC pull scrapers did a few ceremonial laps stripping top soil. Dozers, excavators, compactors, Cat 637G scrapers, etc will be on site by mid week for full blown start up!

Whissell is excited to be starting on this project in the next couple of weeks. Good job by Rocky Mountain Motorsports group on batting through the approval process and now just administrative items to dot 'i's and cross 't's on! Expect to see a big fleet of scrapers, rock trucks, dozers, excavators and graders breaking ground in the next two weeks!
