COVID19 Update: Good day everyone and those interested in Taekwondo. The base gym has just initiated a plan to open facilities for military members only, following very strict guidelines for use of equipment. Until the time that the recreation programs are authorized to start; White Tigers is on stand down. If there is room in the Oromocto Taekwondo Club, I do encourage you to train there with Mr McAvoy and Mr Trail. Thanks for your continued understanding. Mr. Bos

As of now, the Gym and various PSP programs are still not operating. Our normal training year ends in June with the school year. White Tigers will not be resuming training until September, after the Clubs Expo (if that happens, and if we are able to do so under Base and PSP policies). If we do start up in an active Covid19 environment, various protocols tailored for Taekwondo will be implement, which could mean certain aspects of contact/ training can't be offered. I do encourage you to visit our HQ, ICTF, daily/weekly Zoom training hosted by Grandmaster Cariati and Mr Cariati to continue honing your skills. The Zoom information is on a separate post. Hello White Tigers - March Break, we will not be having classes. Enjoy the time off with your families. I will see you all that next week. However, the room is typically booked and open if you are around and wish to practice on your own and to use the mirrors.

Good Day White Tigers! I have uploaded new, by each rank, manuals on the WT Group for our members. Each rank has certain theory aspects to learn. Disregard any step sparring techniques, as we will follow the techniques by Grandmaster Cariati which are in the file "Student Summary Manual" which briefly lists each rank requirements and the 3 step, 2 step and 1 step sparrings. This new manual is easier to read. As I continue to develop the program information, I will make available the TESTING requirement sheets for each rank as well. Keep in mind, there will be no surprises. I teach you what you need for testing in the classes, and if ready, you are invited to test. Taekwon!!

Tonight, we may have a few new people joining us, so ensure you welcome them to our small crew! We will be doing an active workout tonight, focusing on kicking techniques - power on the heavy bags, and precision on the focus pads.

Reminder that classes begin Wed at 1800-1900. There will be one 1hr family class, all ranks. Should the military fitness TKD pt do well, I plan to add an adult only class from 19-1945 hrs.

Submitted my 3rd Dan testing via video to our Grandmaster. Had some great comments back on the various patterns, and completed the test for promotion. Very exciting!

Dear ICTF members, I would like to extend my most sincere well wishes for this holiday season and hopes for a healthy and happy new year. As we enter into a new decade it I look forward to experiencing with you, the entire ICTF family, new accomplishments,new visions and new challenges. 2019 has seen tremendous growth for the ICTF both internationally and in Canada. New relationships have been forged and older friendships continue to grow. I want to take the opportunity to th...ank all the club owners, instructors, students and parents whose strength, commitment and shared vision has helped propel General Chois legacy. Without each and everyone of you who rise to the daily challenges and confront every new day reaffirming the tenets we espouse this federation would not succeed. 2020 is a term used to describe perfect vision.It is clarity. It is sharpness. It is acuity. It is also the philosophy I wish to adopt for this upcoming decade regarding the ICTF. There will be moments when we will need help from someone else. We must ask for that help. There will be times when we need clarification on issues. We must seek out those in our federation who may offer new fresh perspectives. There will also be times when we become frustrated. We must have the acuity to see the situation for what it is and to see that solutions to every problem exist. Good Day everyone. We will have our testing for Monday 16 December at the usual time. Study up on the theory questions! (find the manuals in our group page under 'files'). For white belts, testing doesn't take long; but be prepared to demonstrate all that you have learned! (alt. testing date, Wed 18 Dec) After Wed 18 Dec, we will be on Christmas holidays. We will restart on Wed 8 Jan at the usual time.

Bad weather approaches - our SOP for classes: if schools are cancelled, there will be no Taekwondo that night. However, if the weather clears up to a safe driving condition I will announce on here if classes are a go.

Hello all. Assuming the base gym is open tomorrow; we'll still have classes for those interested.

White Tiger Family- I am pleased to announce that starting in January Taekwondo will be offered as a military fitness class at the base Gym (Combat Training Room) Tues and Thurs at 0900-1000 hrs. This is for military pers only as a form of military sport/ training. There is no cost to the training.

Good Day - we will be not having class on Wed 20 Nov, but to an important family commitment. The room is available, that if you wish to use the time for extra personal practice, feel free to do so. Thank you. Taekwon!

Hello all. A reminder that there are no classes this Monday due to the holiday! practice at home though!!

New uniforms (doboks) and sparring equipment have arrived. We'll hand them out on Wednesday class!

Registration: Let's get all registered up as soon as possible. Advanced Martial Arts is closed in October, so I'd like to get our dobok and equipment order in as soon as possible. I will remind/ announce next Monday at training.

Testing Date: 18 December (Wed). I will set our date at this time, so we have something to work towards in our training. Grandmaster Cariati has authorized me, at this time, to test to blue belt/red stripe. This will also be our last day prior to the Christmas break. Remember, in order to test, you will have to be ready. What you learn in class should be practiced at home. Taekwon! Mr. Bos, II
