Update: Work and the parking lot closure continue through August 26. ... Tombstone Interpretive Centre parking lot will be closed for construction from August 1...9 to 26, 2020. If you are visiting the Tombstone Interpretive Centre, please park in the designated area in the Tombstone Mountain Campground and follow the trail to the centre. The Tombstone Interpretive Centre is open daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

I produced this video as part of tomorrow's Discovery Days celebrations, but I'm sharing it now because it has a good message for visitors and residents as we h...ead into Day One of the long weekend. We're all looking forward to the other side of this weekend and figuring out what the winter looks like for our small northern town. Let's make sure we arrive there as safe as possible. We accomplish that by holding to the good behaviours so many of us have been demonstrating. Keep it up, Dawson, and have a great weekend. Looks like it will be a sunny one.
