YEAR END GRATITUDE and HEALTHY, HAPPY 2021 The RE$$$ULTS are in! Hang onto your helmets..... the horse cookies fund raiser gifted WELCA $530 and the Norwex campaign $957 ~ for an amazing total of $1487 Heaps of gratitude to Alberta Simpson and her daughter Melissa for baking 1,060 delicious horse cookies and for so generously donating the proceeds to WELCA. Sneak peek.... rumour has it these will be available in the new year - stay tuned. ... Enormous thanks to Amanda Brown for our first, brilliant, sparkly Norwex fund-raising campaign! Together we have generated $957 for WELCA. Amanda, we cannot thank you enough for all you've done to achieve this success. AND... we are delighted to announce our next Norwex fund-raiser March 7 - 27 for new products and refills! Make a note in your Spring Cleaning calendar. These wonderful women offered these amazing fund-raising opportunities to all of us - and we couldn't be more grateful. And they are in good company, for all of you have been amazingly generous throughout the year as well. Sooo many gifts of time, effort, money, tack, equipment and elbow grease - done with so much heart - without fanfare - for our collective good. 2020 was a year of deep adversity and amazing opportunities. It can be hard to be grateful in the midst of real loss but it is also essential - because it keeps us moving forward toward a future we are all the more grateful for having. We are GRATEFUL to all of you, the WELCA and LBTRA families, for all we have shared and accomplished. We have a future to look forward to because we acted as a community with shared values and passions. Thank you from our hearts to yours.

I think we've all met at least one of these lesson horses at one time or another. *Maybe* a WELCA lesson horse. Maybe. Not likely. But could happen.
