Sending these prints off to a new home

This is me at 11:30pm, getting a print ready to be shipped the next day. I’ve gone back and forth many times about giving this up. I often wonder if the late nights are worth it, if the time and money spend on growing my skills and business even makes a difference. But at the end of the day, when I get to sit at my desk and design something I’m proud of, it gives me the motivation to keep going (no matter how slow the pace is) and I’m so thankful for everyone who has encouraged me along the way

This was one of the very first bible verse I memorized as a child. There’s a little song that goes with it and I still remember it to this day. Just don’t ask me to sing

This design is quite different from what I normally would do. I usually like to go for something that’s bright (lots of white and soft colours). However, I wanted this quote to go with a darker colour scheme because I’ve always pictured Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings to be dark and grim. It’s also winter and snowing a lot here, so why not?
