It is that time of year. We are getting ready to close down the course and as I sit here waiting for the frost to lift I wanted to send out a huge thank you to the best team in the world. I am so thankful to have all these hard working ladies and gentlemen working beside me. They have helped me get through this stressful year. Without them I am pretty sure I would still be trying to open up the place. They put in the hours and helped out as much as they could to make it our b...est year yet. They never turned down work to make it safe and friendly for the golfers. With all the curveballs that were thrown in our direction they took it with a smile and gave it their best. So if you are golfing at White Sands Golf Course & Practice Centre please give them a wave and say thank you. They deserve the recognition. Without the hard work the golf course would not be in the shape it is in today. To you the golfers. Thank you. You guys worked with us to make sure all protocols were meet and it was safe for you the golfer as well as the employees. You did not complain about the lineups to get out to the range or the course. You came in with a positive attitude and made us feel like we accomplished our goals of trying to make it as normal as we could. So with that being said. Thank you so much. I am not saying this is the end of the year just yet because we still have some golf to be played. We will stay open as long as we can to make sure you have a safe and fun place to go. We will be open until November 10th. We will continue to monitor the weather and try to extend the season as long as possible. Thanks again Chris Muldoon superintendent
