Whitestone Fire Department

The township and the fire department are working together to create a safe Halloween for our kids and our neighbours. We are going to be hosting a physically distanced Halloween walk down at the fire hall/ municipal office. If you would like a table to serve candy or treats to our kids please let Rebecca Green know so she can assign tables to you. We will be running this event instead of traditional trick or treating so our kids and seniors stay safe. We are going to run this event from 3-6pm on Halloween evening. Please Facebook me or text Rebecca Green if you are interested in getting involved. A flyer for the kids will be created tomorrow. Thanks everyone in advance.

July 11,2020- Fire Ban has been lifted. No day time burning. Bon fires can be started no earlier than 6pm.

The fire danger rating is at high which means there is no day time burning and no day time burning permits will be issued. Bon fires are permitted after 6pm with a permit .
