Retraction: It was brought to my attention that there was an error in one of our stories regarding the nature of the gathering and details of the First Nations. As such, we have edited the story and posted the letter, and will include it in next week's physical issue. I apologize for the error. https://www.whitewaternews.ca/letter-to-the-editor-retract/ The story in question, edited: https://www.whitewaternews.ca/westmeath-farewell/

Update: The email server that hosts our editor's mail ([email protected]) is currently down, and emails cannot be accessed. We apologize for any delays this might cause in response. The editor will respond to ad requests when he is able. This power outage is having a lot of after-effects.
I have been informed that there is an error with the date: The August 27th issue says August 20th. If the front page has the Russell Mackay story and the goalie in Eganville, it's the right issue, just the wrong date. Sorry for the confusion.
Issues have been delivered to Freshmart and IDA in Beachburg, meaning all physical copies are delivered. Sorry for the delay.
Due to the power outage in Whitewater Region, physical issues will be a bit late today. Your editor/courier will come back around soon to finish delivering them. Sorry for the inconvenience. (Also I am aware that those without power have less chance of seeing this post, I'm banking on people's phones being charged.)

New Issue of Whitewater News, for August 13th, is live. Featuring Beachburg's Russell Mackay, who despite being 82 and blind, will walk from his home to CHEO in Ottawa on August 24th. https://www.whitewaternews.ca/
