All buses will be running - a deal has been reached between the province of Ontario and CUPE.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to post Mike Whitmells father, Carl Whitmell, passed away on Thursday, July 11th. He and his wife Joan have been pioneers in bussing since 1950. They started Whitmell Bus Lines with just one bus and thanks to their hard work, along with Mike and Paula, we have come to sit where we are today. There will be a Celebration of Life for Carl on Sunday, July 21st at 2:00pm in the Sprucedale Faith Chapel followed by a reception at the Sprucedale Community Centre. If you’re able to make it to support Mike, Paula and Whitmell Bus Lines it would mean so much to the family.

Due to flooding, Routes 464, 467, 468, 470, 472, 474, 476, 477, 696, and 697 are affected and cannot reach the following areas: Ferguson Rd, Doe Lake Rd, Cherry Hill Rd, Midlothian Rd, Sunset Pass Rd, Pegg's Mountain Rd, Axe Lake Rd, Starratt Rd, Suomi Rd Route 694 is cancelled. Routes 465, 466, 469, 471, 473, 478, 479, and 480 are running normally. Thank you all for your patience and understanding while our community as a whole is dealing with this wide-spread event.
