Hello everybody! Starting Monday, our daily hours will resume! That's 9am to noon, and 1-5pm! Can't wait to see everybody here! Our knowledgeable Assistant Curator Matt will be happy to help you out with anything, so don't be afraid to ask!

It's a small world after all! Here we have George, the WPHS President with Ann, who came to the museum today with one of the tour buses. Ann, while not being a Whitney Pier native herself, has ties to our neighborhood, in that she's the grandniece of none other than Henry Melville Whitney himself, the man who gave The Pier its name!

A blast from the past! A photo from the grand opening of the Whitney Pier Historical Society, 30 years ago this year! The building used to be the former Adath Israel Synagogue, which was built all the way back in 1913, 105 years ago! Come see this picture and more this summer, there's always something new every time you come!
