Oh, the details! This gorgeous quilt was created by Linda Miles She lovingly made it for her daughter for Christmas. I love quilts with a lot of detail and personality. Linda pulled from her fabric stash for this one, and oh, what a gorgeous stash of fabrics it is. If you look closely, she has embroidered tiny wee animals as accents ... ... a bird a squirrel a kitten a butterfly and the little fella in the very last picture ... AND check out the one inch squares in the little border around one of her blocks The pantograph is as feminine and pretty as the quilt itself, and it’s called Chantilly Lace Pantograph. The quilt pattern is called Spring on Bleecker Street ... This amazing Triple Irish Chain was created by @annekerr81 Anne’s dear friend asked her to make this quilt for her. Anne left the pantograph choice to me, and I chose the Aphrodite Grande Pantograph - the ivory centres, and the darker borders were an opportunity to add some movement to the design .... and besides, Aphrodite Grande pantograph is a favourite of mine ... perfect for a special, heartfelt project like this one. Half inch diameter snowballs as far as the eye can seeIf we aren’t going to have snow here for Christmas, I decided I would make my own! This is a Christmas project I’m working on. I wanted a snowy background for my 18in x 40 in. project so I put my APQS longarm machine to the test. I’m liking the results.
