Some mornings, days, and sometimes weeks can be more challenging than others. I’ve personally experienced many times when getting out of bed requires much more effort and determination than I feel it should. My bed is my warm, comfy and safe zone and that makes it hard to leave, especially when my brain wants to do nothing at all Journaling is one of my favourite tools to work through emotions and if you find yourself struggling to leave your bed in the morn...ing, maybe try these journal prompts and see what you write and how it makes you feel. Stress can be totally overwhelming and quite often I let it get the best of me. Tight chest, short breaths, nausea, insomnia, the list goes on and on. While I am super thankful for all of the knowledge I have to support me through stressful situations, for yoga and spirituality, and for eating food that supports gut and brain health, I am not perfect and sometimes let stress cripple me. We can't eliminate stress from our lives, but what we can do is control how we react to it. Journaling can be a great way to release stress, process emotions and help get through the day. @ Calgary, Alberta
