The only bummer with these chairs is we don’t get to see the update back in it’s frame. The client brought the fabric to me and I was terrified when it was striped. I was sure I’d end up with crooked lines but it ended up being easy to work with and I love them. No more lumpy, loose blue. They’re ready to go back to their cabin home.

Happy update, they screw off after all!

I have a rare project I’m starting, one that’s for me! Facebook marketplace presented me with this free beauty and I couldn’t pass it up and I was magically the first to contact the seller. It was meant to be though as it needs one work. First step, take off the legs. This step is usually the easiest but I’ve already encountered an issue, there are no screws holding them on. Pretty sure they glued them to the furniture. Wish me luck!

Can you believe these cushions were once green? Patio cushions are tricky and there may be a couple of you thinking hey, I asked you to do some for me and you said no. I don’t like patio cushions, but when someone comes to you at their wits end after trying to sew them on their own then I sometimes make an exception (plus there wasn’t any piping involved). In the end, I actually enjoyed this job, there were no surprises and everything went nice and smooth.

Can we talk about these chairs again and the crazy fabric I used? The client asked for dark brown, which I bought. But then I finished and put the seat on. Look at those 2 chairs, this isn’t a before and after... that’s the same chair, just in different light. Isn’t it the craziest thing. Luckily the client still liked the fabric so we were all good but it was a good lesson learned.
