Please Share my Post ... As most people know ... As an Essential Worker, I take special care of Breast Cancer Patients prior to surgery and beyond at Silhouette...s Mastectomy GCMF. Surgeries continue to take place, Chemo and Radiation treatments continue to happen. The Chemo department and Doctors continue to fax RXs to me for our patients to get the necessities following surgery and during treatment. I can only imagine the fears experienced by those newly diagnosed. The world is upside down because of Covid19 and, their world is inside out because of a new diagnosis. Also as an Essential Worker, specialty garments for lymphedema and medical compression stockings can be ordered and picked up curbside or delivered if the need arises. We have all of your RXs and info in your files. And also, again, as an Essential Worker, I continue to take care of Cancer Patients for their Hair Loss needs. My 20 years of practicing immaculate hygiene in the store due to the compromised immune systems of our patients continues. Our hair swatches are small samplings of the full wig color. Like all swatches, they only give you a small representation of what the color will look like. To fully understand how a color will look, it is better to see it on a full wig. One tool in selecting a color is to browse through our selection looking only at the colors the wigs are. (At this point, you are ignoring the styles and looking only for colors you like). We will jot down several colors and styles. During you...r complimentary color consultation, we will compare the in-store examples to our in store hair swatches that are available in your wig style. There are a number of other useful tools we utilize in assisting our customers. For example, instead of hair swatches, customers will frequently bring us photographs. If you would like to try and to select your wig color on your own, we recommend looking at other wigs in the brand you have selected to see which styles are in colors you are considering. This will give you a better visual of the overall color. If you are torn between two color options, we recommend choosing the lighter hair color. Chemotherapy treatments can wash out your skin tone. Your skin tone can develop a greyish, greenish or yellowish tone. A darker shade will provide more contrast, accentuating a paler complexion; a lighter color will soften the effect for a more flattering look.
