Terry Fox Run 2020/2021 Assalamu Alaykum, Yesterday on Sep. 24th, 2020, in the memory and honor of Terry Fox run, the Windsor Islamic High School has organized a mini run around the school. All present students and staff ran and celebrated this day. WIHS students created poems, drawings, pictures and posters that were presented in this event. ... Because the goal of fundraising was attained, refreshments and cupcakes were served at the end of the run. Prices were given for the students who participated in this event. PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah, As the principal, I am very proud of Windsor Islamic High School, which stands out because of the willingness of the men and women who work there to do everything to encourage student retention and, ultimately, their success.... Our school provides a healthy living environment conducive to the social and academic development of our students. Good supervision, a motivating school environment as well as the guarantee of a safe environment are the means we put forward to meet the expectations and needs of our young people. This is our commitment to the students entrusted to us! Through its three courses; Islamic education, memorizing the Holy Qur'an and the Arabic language, the WIHS tries to equip our children to build their Muslim identity in the Canadian context. We support the development of the potential of each student who attends our school. To achieve this, we build relationships with families, our partners and the Muslim community in Windsor and we rely on the expertise and mobilization of our staff to ensure that success is within the reach of every student.
