Good morning, I finally caught the way I round pen horses through horses. This is EXCELLENT for all my past clinic folks, horse training folks, lesson folks, people that have bought horses from me or anyone wondering how and why I train. When I step into the round pen I do so as a horse because horses don't speak "human". I was lucky enough to catch how a herd reacts to a new horse, how they communicate (without words, or gadgets), how they move horses feet and everything ...I show you in the round pen is done so from the horses thinking. Now you can see it in pictures from the horse and my herd. I have explained every picture, this is from start to finish. What you are doing in the round pen at my house is exactly what my horses are doing to this new mare in the round pen. I ask you as a human when you go into someone's house for the first time do you decide and make the rules of that house? Same when I horse in the wild or a new pen comes into a new herd, do they make the rules? Understanding the horse and how and why they think is the first step and my lifelong education. GOOD MORNING our exciting news...meet Tulip!! She is 7 months old and a dream of Chuck's for quite awhile but we waited for the perfect mule to come into our life. She is un touched and out of a gorgeous paint mare who is here so I can help the owner wean them and work with his mare too. We picked her up yesterday and can't wait to get to know her!!!! I have my Andalusian dream and Chuck now has his Mule dream, we are pretty excited! Hope your weekend was filled with smiles!

Good morning! We have all seen the forecast for next week so let's ride the heck out of this weekend!!! We are having a great time with Taylor, horses, camera's, calves and a wall tent! You can't beat that I have some pictures to show you and some VERY exciting news to share on Monday about a new purchase. A farmers daughter...

LOOK WHO CAME HOME AND SURPRISED ME LAST NIGHT???? I am so excited she is home and till Sunday. All she wants to do is horse stuff, music to my ears. Today she grabbed studly and went for a solo ride while I worked in the round pen but and we enjoyed some family time in the wall tent. The heat of a fire is irreplaceable and so was the family visit. I really hope you were able to be with someone you love today with either 2 legs or 4! Good night!
