The kids and I were harvesting in the rain today getting the second to last CSA boxes ready! Holy mackeral I couldnt have done this season without my kids! Today Judah (2years old) and Henk (4years old) helped harvest and wash the carrots, they all picked 50lbs of tomatoes and collected the eggs(as they do everyday) I LOVE OUR KIDS! Im also thankful for all my husbands encouragement and handywork around the farm, I might have quit without you Jeremy Acker I am grateful for my veggie box people - Thank you for choosing me and this small organic farm. I am one mother of four, working from home, that your choice has made a difference for! I appreciate that a lot! I have worked hard and Im exhausted! haha - now to start cleaning out the garden beds!

If you are part of our CSA program, today is an awesome day :) Our first veggie box of the season includes organic windowsill basil, New Moon Tea, onions, kale, beets with beautiful and tasty tops! baby carrots, lettuce, and over a pound of blueberries - ALL ORGANIC! Everything was JUST harvested - it couldnt BE ANY FRESHER! Yes, Im excited; I love putting these veggie shares together.

Jeremy does so much to help me in this little market garden I grow - he has hooked up all the irrigation, he ties up tomatoes in the greenhouse, spends almost all his weekends off from his MORE than full time job working on our property, he even helps me with the weeding. This weekend he helped so my two days of weeding was only one :) AND he makes me laugh. :) (thanks for taking the pictures Willem)

This is my work. This is how I look when I sweat a lot from my work (which is all the time)and my kids want me to cook them food.

Our organic spinach is so delicious! It is the best spinach Ive ever tasted! :) We have it in our morning smoothies and salads! Its for our muscles! This is my lunch today - Im hoping to get more sleep and eat better than last week because that makes me feel good and happy! Good bye bag of chips and m&ms! hahaha!

Tomorrow we have eggs, bags of our organic spinach and lovely organic tomato plants for sale on our farm! Our veggies are grown from organic non GMO untreated seeds. Today our four little boys and I harvested, apples, squash, zucchini, blueberries, blackberries, beets, carrots and potatoes! How is that possible?
