Wild Dreamer Yoga and SUP

Day 5! The final day of the #aerialshowusyourculture challenge! Show us a stereotype of your country. Pic 1 - Is on penetang bay with my dog. Yes! the Penetang bay that we SUP on freezes over completely every winter! The ice is estimated to be about 1-3 ft thick right now and it is already very busy, full of huts, snow mobiles and children. I don’t think you get more Canadian than that. Fun safety fact: minimum ice thickness recommendations for ice fishing is 4, 5 for a s...now mobile and 12+ for most vehicles. As for the Canadian stereotypes....some are true, eh... While we don’t LIVE in igloos, I actually have one half built in my back yard! Maple syrup belongs on everything! (okay maybe that’s just me)... we DO say sorry... a lot... we all took French in school but alot of us can only remember how to say say puis j’aller au toilet. (You know who you are!) Beer hockey curling trees I could go on .... but while it is cold here in winter it can also be so fun and cozy, which is why in pic 2 I’m warm in my house upside down in a University of Toronto sweater. This challenge was inspiring and encouraged me to get back on silks after a very long hiatus. Thank you to all participants! Day 4 of the #aerialshowusyourculture Show us a country that you’ve always wanted to go to. I have ALWAYS wanted to visit Australia’s Gold Coast, but it’s a little far for a short trip and I can’t bring my furry friends, so for now it hasn’t happened. ... Day 3 of the #aerialshowusyourculture Show us a country you travelled to and hope to visit again! Pura Vida! If you know, you know.... Costa Rica is magical. It was where I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher training with @mariannewellsyogaschool and made lifelong friendships with so many cool yogi’s including our amazing aerial host @dirlywirly who invited me to participate as a sponsor in this challenge. The first few pics are from our YTT evening adventures and the other...s are just me playing on my silk at home. Nosara is famous for being one of the world’s few #bluezones which are associated with longevity and happiness. Oh and the back drops are much nicer than my half-reno’d hallway But seriously, everyday you can wake up in the jungle with fresh food, monkeys and the ocean calling honestly I could spend every winter there, but for now I’ll just dream of returning to the sand and one day visiting more of the Nicoya peninsula.
