If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?! Mine would be, home. Wishing Alicia & Corey the most beautiful wedding day on Saturday and a lifetime together full of love and adventure! I can’t wait to get back home and stay in their cozy cottages! @lawrencetownlodge.cottages... . . #wildeastphoto #edmontonweddingphotographer #edmontonengagementphotographer #bohobride #albertaweddingphotographer #hepoppedthequestion #calgaryweddingphotographer #banffweddingphotographer #bridalfantasy #kelownaweddingphotographer #wildlovestories #yegbride #wildloveadventures #canmoreweddingphotographer #yeg #exploreyeg #yeggers #banffelopement #wanderingweddings #drumhellerwedding #drumhellerweddingphotographer #destinationweddingphotographer #novascotiaweddingphotographer #reddeerweddingphotographer See more

Today was rough, I’m not gonna lie. I fell down the victim mode rabbit hole for a solid few hours. Frustrated about not being as in the Christmas spirit as I usually am, or maybe just that my version of Christmas differs from the traditions I grew up with and feeling pressured to keep up with that. Yet..guilt that I haven’t spent Christmas with MY entire family in nearly 8 years. That’s on me and that’s time I didn’t make and I’ll never get it back. Sad, no wait..angry/defeat...ed/exhausted.. that another months gone by with negative pregnancy tests. Triggered by those who constantly ask if I’m pregnant yet. And by every pregnancy announcement that floods my social media. (I’m deeply so so happy for you, you deserve to shout it from the rooftops! we all have our journey, but reality is it’s a trigger for me right now) That my skin has never been more broken out and my hair is still falling out. That my hormones are all out of whack from a miscarriage back in August. That my toddler won’t eat anything these days except cheese, pickles and fries. That I’m failing because..I keep giving him cheese, pickles and fries. That I haven’t really been giving my people the love and attention they deserve, because honestly...I’m working on giving that to myself. That everyone thinks their the expert on living in a pandemic. I don’t like to complain. I’m very blessed and things always could be worse. I’m a pretty positive person and always try to find the bright side. This weeks silver lining was...allow yourself to just feel. However you need to feel. Without haste, without judging yourself. It’s okay to make a big deal about things that feel big to you. Our triggers are opportunities to heal what’s deeper within. And then as I was crying on the kitchen floor, pulling myself together from my little melt down... My 2 year old came over and said with a proud smile on his face.. good job breathing mama! And I knew then..I’m doing something right. We will all be okay. That tomorrow the sun will come up and we get a fresh start to do our best again. If you needed to hear any of this...remember...you’re doing a good job breathing. . . : @wildlovephotos

Catching up on emails and inquiries tonight has me reminiscing on how freaking amazing this past summer and fall was! The most beautiful golden hours almost every night and that smokey hazy sky even did wonders! I am at full capacity for 2021 but my dears, 2022 is now booking in full swing and allll you brides are planning ahead! I know it’s hard to know what next summer will look like for weddings but trust me when I say, I’ve got your back. I’ve become the queen pivoting! ...Happy engagement season! . . . #wildeastphoto #edmontonweddingphotographer #edmontonengagementphotographer #bohobride #wildmoonwoman #albertaweddingphotographer #bohovibes #rockymountainwedding #calgaryweddingphotographer #banffweddingphotographer #bridalfantasy #kelownaweddingphotographer #wildlovestories #yegbride #wildloveadventures #junebugweddings #rockymountainbride #canmoreweddingphotographer #yeg #exploreyeg #yeggers #rockymountainbride #wanderingweddings #drumhellerwedding #drumhellerweddingphotographer #destinationweddingphotographer #novascotiaweddingphotographer #reddeerweddingphotographer #nordeggweddingphotographer See more
