I make these by slicing and sanding the old cedar cork floats. Then each is hand burned a f tied with old gill net line. The ones that say Sointula are $15. The others are $20
New Product. Vintage Cedar Cork Floats cut and wood burned Sointula and tied with the old Gill Net. (Scrap twine from Heather’s rug making- pssst got any more? ) So this style is $15 and if you want a custom burning $20. See newly added picture of a custom order. Let me know if you want some so I have time to fill your order. ... Also note that these are one sided. So the cedar doesn’t snap I am going to put a stabilizing coat of epoxy or something on the Back. Unless you want it two sided. Then it would be thicker and could be customized on both sides. Just posted all the ornaments I've been making in the last few days by generator in the cold shop.. so nice to have heat now... you can find them through the li...nk.. and have an option to check out choosing COD or e-tranfer then local shipping. So you are not having to do a transaction on-line if you prefer not to. I will deliver anywhere on the island. Mitchell Bay even but probably once a week. Thanks for all the support. https://www.wildlgs.com//authentic-50s-era-cedar-fishing-c See more

All of these are available for sale and will be going on my online store in a couple weeks. No filters just sunlight which really makes the colour pop. The surf...ace of sea glass develops a tangled sand crystal surface after original components like lime and soda leach out due to the ph of the water. The edges are smoothed by years and years of being tossed in the waves and sand. I never alter the glass except to drill a small hole through it (with diamond drill bits in water) and I only use Sterling silver and Swarovski crystal. The prices are on each picture. If you would like one please indicate so on the comments for that picture. I can take etransfers and ship. See more
Drilling seaglass and making things and looking for materials on the beach is definitely my method of meditation.

I went out packing herring last spring and when it was over and we removed an old deck for cleaning we found this long forgotten whale vertebrae. It must have come from below ... it must have been down there for decades... maybe another up here. To me it was sacred. I’ve always loved whales and I wanted to do something with it to celebrate its being. To remind us of whales. When Alden took a slice off for me with the saw we saw how the marrow was still there and also how... much of it was gone. He started telling me about the ecosystems whales create when they die naturally and sink to the bottom of the ocean. So if you are as interested as me google whale fall and you can see how there is a whole host of critters that only exist at such places. It’s quite amazing. So I carved into some beach rocks from here and cut bone pieces to fit. It took some time but I love the way they feel. They have good energy. I welcome feedback on this. Wasn’t sure how others feel about it. See more
