We planted and seeded a meadow with my retired professor Larry Lamb in Oxford County this week. Excited to see it develop over the years! #Wildlife_Gardening #NativeMeadow #PollinatorParadise #IDreamOfDinosaurs #restoration

Check for ticks.... all the time like brushing your teeth. The plus side is you can be creative about it like giving yourself regular scalp, ear and toe massage...s, taking the time to moisturize your skin and clean your belly button Check yourself out in the mirror, this also helps to prevent other medical concerns by finding lumps, bumps and blemishes right away. Also "sexy tick checks" with consent of course! Ticks can look like freckles or dirt and can be the size of a poppy seed. Let's be proactive about ticks by forming checking habits for us and our pets. People who live in places with all kinds of fascinating yet frightening species, adapt. Imagine checking your shoes all the time for poisonous spiders and it being no big deal. Let's keep exploring! Always seek medical advice ASAP if you or your loved one has had a tick engorged. Remove the tick properly RIGHT AWAY and keep the specimen for testing. Many videos online. #tickprevention #sexytickchecks #wildernessculture #knowledgeispower See more

Nursery online store now open sorry if it said closed if you tried before. More to be added as they become available! Last spring we were moving the nursery aft...er the electrical fire at our last home. We are so happy to be settling in. We have curb side pick up or can deliver for orders over $50 for a fee. We take flower pots of all sizes for reuse in good condition. link: https://openfoodnetwork.ca/wildlife-gardening/shop #nativeplantsofontario #pollinatorpower #pollinatorplants #edibleplants #monarchsnotmonarchy #wildlifegardening #plantsnotpants #nativeplants #biodiverse #beefood #ediblelandscapes #plantnursery #pawpaws See more
