Didn't think this was real when I first looked at it, but it is!!

I can't believe that summer has come and is almost over! It seems so strange with this pandemic, not being at the farmers market each week and not getting out like I normally did. My big lens is still at Canon Repair and I hope that it is repaired soon and to be able to start shooting again. I have other lenses but they don't come anywhere near what the end product of what the 600 produces. Still want to do a Nippissing river trip this fall and need to have that lens with me. Here are some from other lenses that I have photographed lately. Hope you like them!! PS: There is a bird in that last photo.

I was happy to hear that Canon will be starting repairs on my equipment and should have them back soon. Still haven't been out much to do any photography, seem so weird with how things are. Still miss not being at the North Bay Farmers Market. Cindy's little garden is doing really well and we enjoy the fresh beans and snow peas. Had a feed last night! Been doing some fishing lately and enjoyed eating some of them also! I will leave you with a photo of the garden taken today and some from the deck! The fish photo is from Iphone. Hope you like them!!

Well I have my camera and lens at the Canon repair shop and am waiting for estimates for the repairs. Was kind of worried about shipping them there as the insurance cost are astronomical and shipping them without insurance was very nerve racking!! Hopefully I will have them back here in the not to distant future! It's been very strange not being at the North Bay Farmers Market, as I am worried about this pandemic and the potential for someone getting sick from people handl...ing the greeting cards and such. It would be hard to keep wiping them off as people are looking through them and putting them back as well as my setup makes it very hard to keep the required distance and so on. Hope this thing runs it course and is over soon but I don't think it is to realistic that this will happen. Not to sure, but I think a day or so after I last posted we had a fairly large black bear on the deck, he pull down the oil seed feeder bending the steel hanger and wrecking the feeder itself. Cindy woke me up and he left with a short conversation about what he was doing. He had to have been well over forty inches high at the back. He wasn't filled out yet but will be quite a big bear when he does. Two nights later another much smaller one bit the plastic bottom of one of the hummingbird feeders off, had sugar water all over the place and you can't buy that kind anymore. Well I haven't got anything new to get excited about, so I will share another one of Cindy's garden showing how much its grown in the last while as well as some of the interested backyard bunnies! Stay safe and hope you like them! See more

Have not been out much over the past two or three weeks now and thought I would share something different this time. It was three weeks ago that my wife Cindy planted her garden and I was rather impressed with how fast it has grown. The one section planted with carrots didn't come up and so was planted with some squash a week later. I am sure the extreme heat and sunlight along with watering each day has made a big difference as well. Well I will leave you with some photos of it's progress and hope you like them!! I would like to thank Burrows Country Store and Garden for not jacking there prices up like so many other businesses have with this pandemic.
