A subtle shift in perspective, and then you are free Lately I’ve been appreciating the personal side effects of this pandemic Using a new perspective to reflect on what has led me to where I am, and who I am now... Within the upheaval I had to take time to evaluate things that just weren’t sitting right, I had to come to a place within myself that I could sit and be ok with Upheaval and pauses can be good for those perspective changes One thing I’m certain of, I’m deeply looking forward to re-immersing myself into in person teaching come Fall, as this pandemic allows Big love to you all - I miss you and can’t wait to practice with you again @ Ucluelet, British Columbia See more

F O C U S . I've teamed up with Ukee Rec to offer a 3 part wellness routine for mind and body that is 'technology-light' . If you haven't tried this audio guide yoga series yet give it a download, load it up on your audio listening device (computer, smart phone, music player, etc) and take advantage of this great weather by listening and practising screen-free outside in nature... . There are some other great resources for facilitating focus in this weeks offering as well so check them out. Follow Ukee Recreation Recreated for weekly offerings to support you through the new normal . I hope these classes support you through the summer months. I am looking forward very much to providing in person yoga come the Fall at the Ucluelet Community Centre while taking all the new normal precautionary measures into action . Be well and see you soon See more

Home practice opportunity Part 3 | Practice for Positive Action - 55 min audio guide How to access: Simply click linktr.ee/wildonionyoga to access this free recording. I suggest listening to the intro too. Download the audio file so you can access this practice as many times as you like and when it is convenient for you... Why audio: To reduce distractions and allow a screen time break, to strengthen your other learning faculties like hearing and touch, to allow you to tap into your subtle awareness and pay more attention to how you are feeling internally rather than how you are perceiving the world externally, these files take up less space on your devices than video so you can easily store and access these audio files everywhere you go Preparation for practice: allow yourself 55 min of time - uninterrupted, limit external distractions such as loud noises (set devices to airplane mode), designate a tidy and peaceful place to practice, set your chosen ambience with light, heat and scent, cue recording, follow along, rest, repeat! About the series: This audio series was designed with the intention of guiding you through each practice utilizing a ‘technology-light’ method to reduce distraction and allow you to practice form anywhere you find yourself (you could even use headphones in public space). The series has 3 different practice with three different intentions. They can be practiced in order or chosen based the support you are seeking in that moment. Utilize these practices as little or as much as you like. They are for you and please share enthusiastically. Always listen to your body and honour what it needs in the moment. Please feel free to reach out with any comments, questions or suggestions you may have around the series. I am always open to receiving your feedback so I can offer guidance in a way that supports you Wishing you all a pleasant weekend. . . . . #yogapracticenotyogaperfect See more
