Happy Friday! For everyone new to us, this is me - Tanya. I started Wild Prairie Soap Company over 20 years ago () when my kids were very small. They had really dry & sensitive skin, and nothing I tried really worked to resolve it, unless it was medicated. So, I taught myself to make soap using natural, plant-based ingredients and NO detergent (I knew that this was a major source of their issues). Almost immediately their skin (and mine!) was much improved. Thankfully I a...lso fell in love with the process of making soap (it’s really rewarding!) which really propelled me further into formulating other great products. Thus, this journey of building a business and becoming an entrepreneur began. I left my job as a teacher and dug in, fully committed to pursuing my new passion. Today, I couldn’t be happier with that decision. I’ve met amazing people, taught many others to also love the artistry of soapmaking, found amazing mentors, and even travelled the world pursuing new methods and ingredients and finding new markets. Today, over 20 years later, I’d like to say the most heartfelt thank you to every one of you who has supported our journey and helped us grow. And to all of the people (both past and present) who have helped make WP everything it is today, please know that you are much appreciated. I’ve learned from you as you have learned from me. Today we are so proud of our success in Japan, available in over 200 stores nationwide. And of course, our Canadian stockists are the core of our domestic business and many have been with us for over 15 years We always feel your .
