Thank you for wearing a mask. Children aged 2 and over are asked to wear a mask like their caregivers while visiting the clinic. Wash or sanitize your hands and be aware of social distancing protocols. By following these directions, together we will get through the Covid 19 pandemic. It's tough, it's not our normal, and we know that it is not your normal either. Together we will move through this, and together we look forward to better days ahead.... Thank you for your continued awesome support and understanding!

Have a safe Holiday season. This is certainly not the normal way to get ready for the holidays. However, we have never in our history experienced a world wide pandemic either. The physicians and staff at the Wild Rose Medical Centre know that this is not normal, it is rather abnormal. Now more than ever is the time to start a new Holiday tradition by reaching out to others to lend a helping hand, and make spirits a little brighter. The clinic will be closed from 12:00 p.m.... on December 24th, and will reopen on Monday December 28th at 8:30 a.m. with the phones answered at 7:45 a.m. On January 1st we will WELCOME a new year full of expectations for all of us! Our clinic will be closed on Thursday December 31st at 12:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday January 4th at 8:30 a.m. with phones answered at 7:45 a.m. From our homes to yours, have a very happy, safe holiday season!

Help us keep our Physicians at work so you can access the care you need. In order to keep our clinic open, and our patients, staff, and physicians safe, the staff at the Wild Rose Medical Centre ask a series of screening questions. This is extremely important. We need everyone to be honest with us, when answering these questions, to ensure that we will be able to keep the clinic open. If our staff and physicians are unexpectantly exposed to COVID19 they will be unable to wo...rk for two weeks. This will have significant impact on the care that you are able to receive at the clinic AND at the hospital. If doctors are not able to work, at the clinic or at the hospital, and if staff are not able to work your access to care will be affected. Thank you for helping to keep our staff and physicians at work, and our clinic open to provide you with the care you need. We are all in this together, by wearing a mask, hand hygiene, social distancing and answering screening questions we will get through this.

What if I think I have COVID-19? COVID-19 symptoms are similar to influenza and other respiratory illnesses. Common symptoms can be mild cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose or sore throat. More serious illness could include difficulty breathing or pneumonia. If you have concerning symptoms: 1. Take the COVID-19 self assessment to determine if you need testing, myhealth.alberta.ca. 2. Stay home and isolate for at least 14 days, or until symptoms resolve, whichever... is longer (this is a legal requirement). 3.Call Health Link, 811 to access testing if needed, and if you are concerned about your health. 4.Call the Wild Rose Medical Centre, 403-556-7130 to arrange for a phone consult from a doctor. 5. If you need immediate attention, call 911 and inform them you may have COVID-19. See more
