Our final winner of the different but delicious contest is Mulled Wine as suggested by @davehamilton100. Just in time for winter and Christmas is this comforting flavour, but in frozen form. We’re only open for about a week before taking an extended break for Christmas and some of January. So make sure to stop by to say grab some ice cream to get you through.

Next up in our line of different flavours was suggested by @cmhcw and though it wasn’t the the biggest vote getter it got one important vote, a message from @cliffordbrewingcompany. So we partnered with them to make a Pineapple sour sorbet with their delicious Fruition coconut, pineapple &lime sour beer. Available in scoops, half pints and pints!... Next in our delicious yet different fan inspired ice cream is sweet potato casserole complete with marshmallows as suggested by @instagarbs. Sure this may look like the a weird snack spread for American Thanksgiving next week but it’s the ingredients for the winner of the weird ice cream competition. We’re making them this week and we’ll be serving them as they come available. The first, a premium flavour, available today is Brie with fig & prosciutto dreamt up by @alexander.j.nielsen Soon to come are... Mulled Wine inspired by @davehamilton100 Sweet potato Casserole by @instagarbs Though those were the top 3 vote getters we were inspired by the others so keep an eye out for other different flavours including a collaboration in the near future.

To do that we’re holding a weird ice cream flavours contest. As we’re sure you noticed we love trying new and different flavours - the weirdest being the Honey mustard Pretzel ice cream from last summer. So how do you win?... 1-Comment below with your weird but still delicious flavour 2- Vote and get people to vote for your flavour by liking the comment. (Also go like others) 3- The 3 flavours with the most likes by November 8th (that we feel we can make) will have the honour of being made and the people behind the flavour will get a free pint. Additionally the flavour deemed to be the best will receive a prize package with Willard’s merch and other treats.

We love ice cream all year round, especially on beautiful days like today, but we’ve decided to help those of you who prefer something less frozen during the colder months. We’re trying out serving cookie dough - instead of or alongside your ice cream. Currently serving Funfetti (vegan), Gingersnap (pictured) and Chocolate Chip (vegan) but like our ice cream we will be rotating flavours.

We’ve been getting requests for it and though we won’t get to see the looks of confusion on your face we decided to bring Surprise back. For those not in the know. For Surprise we take one of the many flavours we make and add activates charcoal to make it black, and you don’t get to know what it is. The first person to guess it on their first try after buying one gets a free cone their next time in. ... Think you can figure it out?

More reason to celebrate! Starting today we’re expanding our hours staying open until 8:00 on Fri & Sat. Why are we open so few hours in the summer? We’ve talked with many of you and you know that it’s just myself (Matt) and Charlotte running through shop with an employee or two. I’ve been working full time at another job since we opened and was ready to leave at the start of this summer season but COVID threw a wrench in our plans like so many others and so I’ve stayed on t...o keep our bills paid and not risk the future of Willards. Unfortunately this means that we’ll be at reduced hours until we see enough sales to cover the costs of being open more days. We decided we’d be honest with the reason. In reality we’d love to be behind the cabinet scooping ice cream every day but currently it’s not feasible.

No your eyes aren’t deceiving you. That is in fact an ice cream cone and starting today our door is open and we’re serving them! With that in mind we are taking precautions. 1-We’re asking all our customers to wear a mask upon entering our store. 2-The number of people in our shop will be limited. Please read the instructions on our door upon arrival.... 3-Please pay with debit or credit if at all possible. We will still be taking orders through our online store for pickup but will no longer be doing curbside. Please come into the store to pick up any orders. Please be patient as we adjust our process as we figure out what does and doesn’t work.
