This is mostly affecting people/pets in other provinces, but the treats were available nation-wide at Canadian Tire and Save-On-Foods. https://www.canada.ca//outbreak-salmonella-illnesses-dog-t

Ticks are everywhere! Check out the link below as a reminder of how to remove a tick if you find one on YOUR pet! And as much as you want to flush the pesky little critter.....please keep it. You can bring it to us and we can identify it. It is important to know if it is a black-legged/Deer tick - the kind that could transmit Lyme disease! https://www.petsandticks.com/tick-removal

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our beloved clinic cat Lou Lou. Just about 2 weeks ago we celebrated her 20th birthday, but with that checked off her "bucket list", her little body just got tired....and we knew she was ready to say goodbye. She has been a part of our lives for 15 years, and we cherish every moment we had with her. We will miss her everyday, and she will live in our hearts forever. We love you Lou Lou, rest peacefully sweet girl

HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY TO LOU LOU!!! Our clinic cat Lou Lou has been with us almost since the day we opened our doors in 2005 and today she turns 20 years old! She is such a special kitty and we love her so much. Our clients don't see her much as she stays close to her food bowl in one her comfy beds in our clinic office. However, she does still love to seek out someone for her daily brushing, and to hide in any cupboards she may find open. In her senior years, she has developed some quirky traits - but we adore her and feel lucky to have such an awesome clinic cat! We love you Lou Lou!

If you live within one hour of Guelph and you have had a positive test result for COVID-19, or have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough), and you have a cat, dog or ferret in your household, please consider participating in this study on COVID-19 in pets. Thank you! :)
