As our province enters Phase 2 of the pandemic response, dentists in BC are waiting for the official go ahead from our governing bodies to reopen clinics for regular dental care. We understand that many of you are waiting to see us, and we ask that you continue to bear with us as we wait for our reopening guidelines.... In the meantime, we are working hard behind the scenes to prepare for our reopening. This includes making changes to our reception and waiting area, securing enhanced Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for our team, and training our team under new protocols designed to facilitate social distancing and ensure everyones safety in the clinic. Due to the ongoing spread of pandemic COVID-19, our clinic will remain closed until further notice. Dear Patients of Willoughby Crossing Dental Centre, As the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve, our clinic is committed to following all recommendations put forth by Canadian health officials and governing bodies. As of March 16th, 2020, the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia has recommended that all elective and non-essential dental services be suspended immediately. In response, we will be closing our office for the next 2 weeks and rescheduling ...all non-emergency appointments that are booked during this time. We intend to re-open on Monday, March 30th, but this may change as further updates and recommendations are made by Canadian health officials. If you are an existing patient of our office and in urgent need of emergency dental services, please call 604-533-3000 or email your concerns to [email protected]. As a practice owner, I now have the ability to give back to the community in ways that werent possible before. This past Monday, we opened our office doors to those coming from a local womens shelter, and provided free dental work to women and children in need. It was a busy, hectic and emotional day - and Im so glad that we did it. To my staff: Im so thankful and proud to have you guys with me and volunteering your time and skills - couldnt have done it without you "

And now... our big announcement!!! After five years practicing as an associate dentist at Willoughby Crossing Dental Centre, Dr. Cheung has officially taken over the clinic as the new owner. Were so excited and would like to thank everyone in the community of Langley for their support. To show our appreciation, were throwing a block party on Sunday, July 29th, right in our parking lot and complete with food, a live DJ, a HUGE bouncy castle, games and prizes (new iPad, anyone?). So swing by, grab some treats, and come say hi to the new boss lady!

Just an example of what a couple tooth-coloured fillings can do for your smile! The upper left central incisor (21) had a chip at the biting edge, and the adjacent lateral (22) had a leaking and stained composite filling. After a quick appointment with Dr. Cheung, this patient left our office happy with an improved smile!

Dr. Cheung will be away on holidays from Feb 19th - Mar 5th. The office will remain open at this time for hygiene appointments, so if you have any concerns or need a cleaning then just give us a call!
