Ok ok ok guys, I am soooo excited to share these photos with you!! This shoot was just featured on Wedding Bells Magazine and I couldn’t be happier, seriously, what an honour here is the link https://weddingbells.ca//a-stunning-anne-of-green-gables-/ This shoot was inspired by Anne of Green Gables and the beautiful love story between Anne and Gilbert. The creative design and styling were done by myself and Tan from @mesarentals. I also did the hair for this shoot I want...ed to take Anne’s classic pigtails and modernize them with some unique braiding techniques and a gorgeous flower crown made by @cartrefgardens. This wedding was so sweet! It was on a little farm on salt spring island and had the sweetest bride and bridesmaids. I love how loose and flow-y this brides half updo is... and those little pieces of baby’s breath photography by Georgia Johnston Weddings. My assistant Hayley was there to help me prep these gorgeous hairdos

Makeup: @makeupartistrybytrish Florals: @cartrefgardens Cake: @cobblehillcakeco Dish rental: @toquecatering Stationary: @petitepaperiedesignco Silk table runner: @ninebarkfarm Jewelry: @emmagloverdesign Models: @becca.thackray @zanderfelton For the hair I wanted a very boho, beachy look to the hair so I used my curling wand to give those beautiful beachy curls. I wanted to let Becca's hair flow naturally down on the one side so that you would be able to see it moving in the wind. To me, a long side braid screams beachy-boho and it is so beautiful and carefree. I am so happy with how the flower fascinator worked with the updo too! I put a fishtail braid on the one side and did a lot of loops and turns in the back to keep the whole updo interesting and flattering from every angle. Becca's hair is very thick and long so it was very heavy to work with. This type of hair can easily fall flat, but with the right products and techniques I was able to keep the volume lasting into the night! (Speaking of the night, how cute are those post sunset photos of them snuggling up next to the fire!!)
