Willowby Community League Rink is now open !! AHS and City of Edmonton restrictions, regulations and guidelines in place due to COVID 19 has changed a few things about how the rink will run this season. For now our rules at Willowby are:... - A maximum of 10 people on the ice at any time - Skaters must sign in to www.volunteersignup.org/9LDXP for a time slot and for contact tracing - No stick or pucks allowed on the ice at this time - Social distancing of 2 meters apart from anyone outside your household cohort - Masks mandatory in the rink area when not on the ice - Hand sanitation before and after use of the rink area and ice - Skaters respect the onsite instruction of our rink attendant - Skate room and washrooms will remain closed - Memberships will be required to skate on community rinks - No entering the rink area and ice if you are showing symptoms of COVID 19 As the season goes on, these rules may change and be revised to accommodate changes to provincial restrictions or rules not being followed by the users of the ice. Please adhere to the Willowby rules and be personally responsible so we can keep this ice open and safe for all. Please refer to the www.willowbycommunityleague.com website for the complete set of rules. Using the rink area and ice will be at your own risk.

Family Trivia Night Tonight Christmas Trivia Night here! Sunday, December 20, 2020 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm... Google Meet Link: meet.google.com/ryc-kuou-huu Trivia Link: crowd.live/MGSLP What you need to know: The meet will be open at 6:20 pm so you can get set up, and the game will begin at 6:30 pm. When you log on to the Google Meet, please turn off your microphone. You’re welcome to turn off your video, or leave it on and show off your pajamas (or your celebration dance for correct answers!) When you log into the trivia link, you will be asked to enter: a nickname (everyone will see the name you choose - you can make it festive or simply your family name), an email address (so we can contact you if you win a randomly selected prize), and your community league (only leagues who have officially partnered to offer the trivia will be shown, but if you are in a different league you can choose your closest league, or other) The questions have been designed for kids between the ages of 5 and 12. Feel free to let them take the lead in answering the questions! Each question will have 30 seconds to answer, which will be more than enough time for your child to choose an answer. There will be two rounds of 15 questions, with a short break in between rounds. A random draw will be held at the end of the trivia games for gift cards provided by the participating leagues. If you get disconnected from the Google Meet, keep answering the trivia questions. The game will run independent of the Google Meet, and we will still see your points total (and you will still be entered into the prize draw and contacted at the email you enter at the start of the trivia game). Please remember that this is a volunteer run event and there may be hiccups along the way. This is all for fun, so we’ll just roll with it! We’ll be wearing our pajamas and drinking hot cocoa! If it fits with your plan for the day, we encourage you to join in.
