We truly live in one of the most beautiful corners of the world. I found this little gem of a bridge while out on a drive yesterday. It is only wide enough for one car and driving over it was a little unnerving with the wooden flooring. But it was magical with the river flowing beneath and the ice heaving and cracking with each wave. Although this bridge is very high above the river, parts of it were under water just a few short years ago due to a huge flood. Nature is cert...ainly a force to be reckoned with. The wildlife here think they own the place.. especially this one! I have named him Harry Styles as he has stylish feathers sticking out everywhere and he is bold and fearless. His cohort has been named Marilyn Monroe as she is more voluptuous and gets blown around by the wind more. Slightly timid too! You are invited to come and meet these friendly little ones and even feed them from your hand. You’ll make friends for life

Living at a higher elevation means we sometimes get to see the clouds and fog below us. Today is a perfect example. The fog is moving so fast today that we will be clear one minute, then completely enveloped in fog the next. And it just goes back and forth... Did I mention I love winter?!
