TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY My apologies, I know I missed last week, not gonna lie, every day feels the same so I've been losing track . This week transformations feature our newest Canadian line of paint, Homestead House Milk Paint. We loved the ingenuity and resourcefulness of this young man's project. Repurposing wood from pallets, he built himself a modern farmhouse style headboard within a couple hours. He asked us to transform the plain raw wood into a 'weathered' look whic...h we achieved using 2 colours of milk paint. The 1st coat of paint was done in Homestead Grey and then we dry brushed Raw Silk over top. We then sealed it for an extra durable finish in FAT Paint's Clear Top Coat. We are so happy that our client loved the results! I wanted to also to share my laundry room. Most of you know I live in a century home and my conveniently located upstairs laundry room was most likely a closet beforehand hence the terrible angles for pictures. 12 years ago, I decided to paint the 80's looking yellow pine cupboards in milk paint and distress in order to look more age-appropriate for our house. This was such a simple project as the paint is all natural so no smells or fumes and it still looks great 12 years later! Walkerton BIA

TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY This perfectly functioning cedar chest just needed a refresh to update from blah to beautiful!! The only prep work involved was a good clean. Two coats of FAT paint’s Raven, very light distressing for some character and then to seal we rolled/brushed on the amazing Clear Top coat for extra durability.
