We will not be offering Pick-Your-Own on our raspberries or earlier varieties of blueberries. We are hoping that our later varieties will be available but at this time we cannot be certain.... Wilson’s Fresh Blueberries is looking for two Farm Labourers/Harvesters for this Summers fruit harvest. The Canada Summer Jobs program creates work experiences for young people aged 15-30. Farm labourers wanted to plant, cultivate, harvest, irrigate crops, examine produce for quality and prepare for market and a variety of other farm related tasks. 35 Hours/week, Monday Friday and potentially some weekends and holidays. $14/hour. ... Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Physical capabilities include ability to handle heavy loads, repetitive tasks, distinguish between colours, and ability to stand, crouch, kneel and walk for extended periods. Must be willing to work outdoors in all climates including cold, wet, dusty, and hot. Assets include attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, problem solving, decision making and working with others. No education required. Farm experience is an asset. Police check is required.
