Today marks 6 months. 6 months of heartache, grief and hope. Below is the update that has been given to those who have kindly donated to the GoFundMe for the El...lsworth-Clark Family: Hey Holly, I know these updates are meant for the kind and generous people who have donated to our search for you. But today, I want to talk to you. And boy do I have some words for you. So sit down and let these sink in. Ready? Its just four words: Dave Greta Caleb Kate They are so tired. Exhausted. Stuck in a realm that they dont deserve to be in. I know you would never intentionally hurt them. I know you would never walk away from your family. And I know you love them so much. You know they support you 100% in whatever you want to do. Its been 6 months. Half a year. If you are still with us, I need you to reach out. I need you to call someone, anyone and tell us youre OK. Nothing youve thought, said or did could possibly be so bad that we cant help you. If you dont want help, thats OK too. We just really need you to tell us that. If someone is helping you, Id really like to thank them for the hard work theyve put in to look after you. I can meet them anywhere, anytime. You just name the place. I can bring Dave with me or I can meet them alone. Id like to give you all the options in the world. Just let me know what you need. Dave Greta Caleb Kate Those are the words I need you to hear. Those are the words I need you to feel. Those are the people who need you to reach out. Elle

600 CARS Thats the number of additional cars driving around Ancaster each day if we dont stop the severance of the Ancaster High School grounds and the result...ing development that will take place. It will mean the widening of Meadowbrook Drive and Jerseyville Road. It will mean 600 additional cars driving up and down Wilson Street. It will mean 600 additional cars traveling on the 403. It will mean 1 or 2 years of dump trucks, bulldozers and excavators traveling through Ancaster. Please join us on Saturday, June 13 to walk in the Ancaster Heritage Day Parade representing Ancaster Severance. We hope to have 4 or 5 soccer players carrying our 12-foot banner at the head of our group. We will have sandwich board signs displaying our cause being pulled in kids wagons. We will be handing out our business cards to the crowds that have information on how to sign our petition. Our strength is in petition signatures the more we have, the stronger we are and right now we have over 9,000 signatures! All you have to do is walk with us! Bring your kids, they are welcome to walk as well. We meet at 9:00 am at the corner of Lodor Street and Academy Street. Look for the Ancaster Severance sign. The parade walk is only 40 minutes. If rain cancels the parade look for a notification on our Facebook page: facebook.com/ancasterseverance Do this because you want to stop the severance! Do this because you want your kids to continue to play soccer! DO THIS BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT ANOTHER 600 CARS ON THE STREETS OF ANCASTER! SEE YOU THERE!

Beyond the personal reasons, supporters of free access to water from the Ancaster Well believe there are some important principles involved as well. They includ...e being environmentally sound, especially as we are challenged with climate change; a belief that, as the United Nations states, it is a human right to have access to clean drinking water; its been a part of Ancasters heritage since the founding of the community; it honours the amazing personal legacy of Ancaster resident and farmer William Kennedy; it promotes to the community a greater understanding of and appreciation for the importance of public access to clean drinking water. #FREETHEWELL See more
Meet Victoria Galea - join us on Sunday. Green Party of Canada - Annual General Meeting - HWAD! Victoria Galea is seeking the nomination as the Green Party can...didate in the Hamilton West Ancaster Dundas constituency in the upcoming federal election. Victoria is a 23-year-old lifelong resident of the west mountain part of the constituency. She has a BA in political science from McMaster University and is completing an MA there in international relations. Her research for her masters degree has focused on climate change. As an undergraduate, she co-created and led Social Justice at Mac, a student group that explored all aspects of bringing social justice to the industrial areas of Hamilton, including addressing environmental racism. She has also hosted and led litter cleanups at Bayfront Park, the Bruce Trail and the Hamilton to Brantford Rail Trail. She is currently the chief executive officer of the Hamilton West Ancaster-Dundas Green Party Federal Electoral District Association. She aims to be elected as a Green Party MP, so that she can bring to the forefront of political discussion sustainable policies addressing climate change. Climate change is the single most important, defining challenge of our time. The worlds climate scientists have told us that we need to rapidly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to avoid far more prolonged droughts, coastal areas flooded by a rising ocean, and extreme weather events which will create tens of millions more climate refugees. I want to help contribute to this change by pushing for legislation that will create more jobs in a new equitable low-carbon economy and a brighter future for my generation and the generations to follow. - Victoria Galea

Can you help? On Saturday February 23rd volunteers will go door-to-door delivering flyers announcing the Food Drive. On Thursday February 28th, Food will be p...icked up at schools and from donors and the facility will be set up. On Saturday March 2nd volunteers return door to door to collect donations. The collection will take about 2 3 hours with most routes producing an overflowing trunk-load of food. Due to safety concerns, Youth under the age of 14 are welcomed to help outside but not on the floor. Volunteers are needed, especially to donate and collect food. We urgently need volunteers to load up the trucks on Saturday March 2nd 2 6 P.M. to the Food Serving Agencies Trucks. The need is great and together we can make this a successful effort. Hemp is a natural way to restore contaminated areas and heal the earth. No need to continue the use of chemicals to fix it.

STOP BILL 66. Protect our water, Protect our Land. Agricultural groups across the province are very concerned with Schedule 10 of Bill 66, Restoring Ontarios ...Competitiveness Act, because it would allow municipalities to pass open for business bylaws that could lead to development of prime farmland in order to reduce red tape and create jobs without any public consultation, without regard to any planning laws or water protection and with no right of appeal. Please VOICE YOUR CONCERNS and share feedback as comments are closed after Jan 20th 1159pm. https://ero.ontario.ca/notice/013-4293 See more
