Last night in class, the young students shared stories they heard of the experiences the soldiers had to endure. And one student asked that we do army crawls in remembrance of the soldiers. I was very touched by this and It was very apparent that they do listen and pay attention to what they hear. Lest we forget.

Thinking about what you will have to learn and achieve to get your black belt can be overwhelming sometimes. Looking too far ahead can do that. So just be the best at your current rank that you can be. Be the best Yellow Belt, or Green Belt or Red Belt that you can be each class you attend. That's all it takes. Before you know it, you've reached your goal!

Using our manners, saying "Please" and "Thank you", lending a hand, sharing with others, being considerate of others, do not interrupt, respect other's property and belongings, and apologize when you are in the wrong. These are some common courtesy rules. ... Now more than ever, it's important to remember to respect others even when we have different points of view. Be kind.
