First pic is of the Aileron spars left and right. Calgary Mosquito group has been a great help with this major step. Be sure to get down to see their project at the Bomber Command museum in Nanton AB. The next couple pics are of the oil tank and parts. We are in need of this filter(?) and associated parts for the second tank. If you have any oil tank parts tucked away please let us know

these are the ribs above the radiator between the fuselage and the engine. Nine different sizes and styles for each side. These were made with a soft aluminum hammered over a wood buck. They have since been sent to be hardened to spec and can now be assembled on the spar.

first pic is the back of the Aileron trim control located low on the center post in the cockpit near the pilots right knee. We had a couple poor blueprints and a few photos and the team ran with that. The bowl was cut, by Peter, from billet aluminum on the lathe. This took several days. Dave then took the bowl and drawings/photos and created all the rest in his small shop. He has a small lathe and a small mill and lots of talent. As you can see lots of detail and nothing missed. Even made the brass bushing on the back.He even made a presentation box!!

The control column is now ready to be installed. a couple new brackets done by our machinists from blue prints and original parts. Aileron spars are almst ready. The two prong parts are part of the Rudder pedal assembly being made of the Calgary group. The cup was machined out of billet aluminum using blueprints and pictures. This is the inside of the Aileron Trim tab adjustment dial on the instrument panel. Cables will pass out the bottom to connect to the trim tabs. We have several other processes being worked on. The small ribs of the fairing above the rad is almost done. 18 in all 9 different sizes. The Canopy is now almost fitted thanks to info from the Calgary group.
