What can we say about 2020?? We could fill this space with all the negatives, but we’ll focus on the positives!! We may have had a lot of restrictions to work with but our staff went above and beyond EVERY. SINGLE. DAY to make sure that their WC family had a great day. Our amazing volunteers found creative ways to continue to visit. The community around us stepped up with special cards, staff treats and notes for the residents throughout the year. The families have been so su...pportive of our decisions during this year, going with the flow as we maneuvered through all the different phases. As crazy as 2020 was for everyone, we kept smiling (under the masks) and continued to have fun! Today was no different as we toasted to 2021, a year of happiness...as always!!! Merry Christmas from all of us here at Windsor Court. COVID restrictions might have made this Christmas ‘different’ but we had a great day just the same We finished our day with a delicious turkey dinner and a glass of wine (or two )

T’is the season for giving. Our staff were very fortunate with the Christmas giveaways this year. A former investor (remains anonymous) surprised the staff with a very generous giveaway. This was a way to show appreciation to our staff who work so hard each and every day. We truly are blessed to have 80+ amazing staff who are part of our Windsor Court family. This amazing giveaway meant that 15 staff would each win a $200 Sobeys gift card AND 1 very lucky staff would win $...1,000 worth of Sobeys gift cards. Many happy tears were shed this week as we drew the names of our lucky winners. By luck of the draw we awarded staff from every department and Rodney was the lucky $1,000 winner!!!! What a great surprise this morning Charlotte dropped off some Christmas cards and drawings from her hockey team for the residents. Thank you to her and her hockey team for thinking of us!!

Huge shout out and virtual hug to our friends at Jim Gilberts Wheels and Deals for donating decks of cards and peg games to our residents. THANK YOU!
