Tom Wetzel from District 16 is wondering if there are any Districts out there with any information on return to play protocols for Shuffleboard? The Ontario Government does have a website with many PSO & NSO protocols linked that may be beneficial to some of you, https://www.ontario.ca/page/return-to-play. There are some OSGA sanctioned events that are not on this website though, such as shuffleboard, so we are reaching out to the community for any insights. Please respond to... myself, Tom, or his shuffleboard convener directly: Ramesh - [email protected] , Tel: 416-293-1966. Tom Wetzel - [email protected] Thank you! Our Local District 32 Summer Games have been cancelled! We hope to see many of you in our Winter Games. The OSGA Board of Directors met on Monday, April 6, 2020 and decided that it was in the best interest of the organization to recommend the cancellation of District Summer Games for 2020. This decision was made as we continue to follow the recommendations from the Provincial and Federal governments. We are still waiting for Peterborough to make their decision regarding the O...ntario 55+ Games in August and we have been told this decision will not be made before May 1st. If the Games do continue as scheduled the OSGA is working to provide you guidance on a new qualification process and work with you and the Games Organizing Committee to make the process as simple as possible. This situation is requiring a lot of patience and we appreciate all Districts working with us to get through this turbulent time. Please keep the office updated on the decisions your District makes and remember we do have a virtual meeting room that is available for Districts to use during this pandemic. We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe, Your OSGA Board of Directors
