A fire at a home in the 400 block of Prince Road around 12:00am Thursday has been deemed suspicious. Investigators say the fire began with an explosion. Crews quickly extinguished the basement blaze. No injuries were reported.

Crews were called to a fire in a 7th floor apartment at the corner of Ouellette and Tecumseh just before 6:00pm Tuesday evening. The fire was the result of careless cooking. Damage was limited to minor smoke within the suite, and no injuries were reported. Photo credit to Owen@_OnLocation_

Fire broke out in a home in the 1700 block of Curry around 7:30am this morning. People are asked to stay clear of the area. One resident was rescued from the fire. No cause or damage estimate at this time. Photo credit to Owen@_OnLocation_

Today we remember the service and sacrifice of Canadians past and present who have given us our peace and freedom. Especially members of the Windsor Firefighters family, active and retired, that have served our country in the Armed Forces.
