Low contact and limited touch is one of ways we are trying to keep our staff and customers safe. Working in conjunction with Banks, our store is happy to announce that the 'tap' value on Debit & Credit Cards has been increased to $250 per transaction. If however the tap feature does not work for you, rest assured that we do sanitize our pin pads every time!

Guidelines Effective Saturday April 4th, the following guidelines will be implemented at Wingham Foodland. These guidelines are consistent with those being rolled out across the country for most food store operations. We ask that everyone adhere to the following guidelines so that we can control the physical distancing between our valued customers and employees with the hopes that we can keep everyone safe.... 1. The maximum number of customers permitted in our store at any one time is 20. This number is based on the 2m distancing and the square footage of our store. An outside queue respecting a 2m distance between customers will be created during peak volume times that would exceed our maximum capacity. 2. All hand baskets have been removed and only carts are available. This allows us to promote 2m distancing. 3. Available carts are disinfected prior to each use. 4. LIMIT OF ONE PERSON PER FAMILY TO ENTER AND SHOP IN OUR STORE. 5. Follow the one way direction markers on the floor in each aisle. 6. Keep your cart with you at all times and keep a 2m distance with other customers. 7. Respect the signs on the floor at the front checkout area. Cashiers will call you forward when they are ready for you. 8. If using reusable bags, customers are asked to pack their own groceries. 9. Deliveries will continue Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Continue to email your orders to [email protected] 10. Curb side pick up is also available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 11. No gloves will be allowed in the store. We are offering hand sanitizer outside the entrance for your use. 12. We have staff outside the entrance to sanitize your cart and hands. They are there to answer questions and ensure these guidelines are being followed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A reminder that 8am to 9am daily is Seniors Shopping Hour. Please respect this time to allow our Seniors and those most vulnerable to shop in a less crowded and worry free environment. We appreciate your commitment in keeping our community safe.
