Congrats to Austin Wiebe, Larry Thiessen, and Lexie Elias. Austin Wiebe posted back to back rounds of 69 to win the 2020 Winkler Centennial Club Championship by 6 shots. Tim Friesen shot 68 and 76 to finish in second place. Kevin Wall fired a two day total of 145 for 3rd, and rounding out the top for was Richard Pauls with a 36 hole score of 146. Larry Thiessen took home the 2020 Senior Division with a score of 74. Linc Bergman and Bob Derksen tied for 2nd place with 76's.... Lexie Elias shot a 83 to take home the 2020 Ladies Club Championship Title. Janet Ginter posted 88 to finish second, and Shanley Peters finished 3rd with a score of 89. A big congrats to Austin Wiebe, winning the 2020 Club Stableford OPen. Austin finished with a total of 38 points. Jason Klassen finished in second place with 37 points, and rounding out the top three was Dwayne Funk with 33 points. Larry Thiessen won the second flight with 30 points, and winning the third flight with 24 points was Nathan Elias. Thanks to everyone that played!!!

Congrats to both Colton Harder and Linc Bergman. Colton Harder managed to win his match against Terry Enns to win the 2020 Winkler Centennial Match Play - Championship Bracket and earn his spot on the 2020 MorWin Team. Finishing in third place this year was Austin Wiebe, and Corey Derksen finished in 4th. In the 10+ Bracket, Linc Bergman outlasted Kevin Ginter to win the title. Devon Thiessen finished in third place, and Jeff Thiessen rounded out the top 4.... Thanks to everyone that played in this year's tournament, Our next club event will be the 2020 Stableford Open on July 18th.

Ladies Open on Sunday June 14! We will be running our ladies open with tee times this year due to Covid. Tee times are available from 10am to 12 pm. Carts are available and 2 per cart is allowed on our club carts with the protective shield in them. Cost is $50 per player and includes golf, prizes (flighted) and a $10 coupon to Mulligan’s restaurant that can be used for food on the day or after anytime. Carts are extra and can be reserved. One a warm but windy day, 126 golfers made an appearance in the 2020 Winkler Men's Open. Congrats to Spencer Norrie, taking home the title with a -2 score of 69. Bruce North fired an even par 71 to finish in second place. Terry Enns shot a 72 for 3rd place, and Ryan Baker rounded out the top 4 with a score of 74. Winkler Centennial will be bringing some social back to golf! We received permission today from Provincial Health to put our cart divider shields into play. This means we can do 2 riders on a cart even if they are not from the same household! Just remember to maintain your social distancing at the back of the cart when getting clubs out. And a huge thank you to Icon Technologies, they have worked together with us to make these a reality very quickly!!! We will have them installed very soon

It’s a chilly start to the day but we have a hot water handwash to make keeping Covid regulations comfortable! Thank you to our business friends at Ironmen Industries for making this possible. It is a fantastic unit!
