After graduating from the University of Manitoba in 2001, she began her career in Winnipeg, later Brandon, and came back to her hometown area, Southern Manitoba, in 2011. Karlene is licensed to the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba. She strives to bring a positive patient experience through a caring and personalized approach to dental hygiene care. Karlene lives in Morden with her husband, James, and three kids, Jakob, Jaynee and Ellie. She enjoys road-tripping and camping with her family. We are very excited to re-open our doors to serve our community! As of June 1st The Manitoba Dental Association, has lifted all restrictions and we will be seeing patients for all dental treatment. As recommended by the MDA, we have a few new protocols in place to help keep our staff and patients safe. 1. We want to encourage physical distancing for those at the clinic. This will be done by decreasing the number of people we have in the clinic. At this time we will only... be allowing the patient with a scheduled appointment in the office (with the exception of an adult to accompany a child or a necessary caregiver). 2. Patients will be screened over the phone prior to arriving in office. 3. Upon arrival patients will have their temperature taken, be asked to put on a mask, use hand sanitizer, as well as complete and sign a screening questionnaire. 4. May 4, 2020 The Manitoba Dental Association regulates Dentistry in Manitoba and following their direction we know we will be looking at a phased opening, starting with urgent care first, then moving towards non-urgent care. Effective May 4th,2020 we will be seeing patients for both emergency and urgent dental care. Please be patient with us as we wait for more information to be presented.
