Winnipeg Folk Festival Apprentice Volunteers 13.02.2021

Hi Apprentices! We are getting so close to the festival! Are you excited?! Please remember to pick up your t-shirts and badges TUESDAY JULY 2 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Folk Exchange (211 Bannatyne Ave)! NOTE: You DO NOT have to be there for the full two hours. This is a pick-up-and-go situation. Also, please don't arrive before 5:00pm and expect to pick up your stuff. We will not be ready for you until 5:00pm. If you know you will not be available to pick up your stuff on Wedn...esday due to sports, work, etc., please contact us so that you can make alternate plans to pick it up before the festival. You can reach us on Facebook or at [email protected]. See you next week! - Karen, Sarah, Leora, Heather

Hi Apprentices! Are you planning on camping in the festival campground this year? If so, this is your final warning to buy your ticket! Because the Festival Campground is SO popular this year, camping upgrades will only be sold until Monday, June 17th.... As an apprentice volunteer, you are entitled to cheaper camping! Yay! To take advantage of this, either go to the Winnipeg Folk Festival office at 211 Bannatyne, or follow the link below. Make sure to select the Apprentice camping upgrade. It's the only way you will be allowed to camp in the festival campground! Camping link: https://winnipegfolkfestival.frontgatetickets.com//fb16766 We hope you are all as excited as we are, and we can't wait to see you soon! Your Apprentice Coordinators, Karen, Sarah, Leora, and Heather

Winnipeg Folk Festival Apprentice Volunteers 30.01.2021

Hi apprentices! Last week we sent out an email with some important upcoming meetings. They are listed below. If you have not checked your email in the last few days, please do so ASAP! In addition to our upcoming meeting, there is other important crew information in our most recent email, so please be sure to read it. Our first meeting will be TUESDAY, JUNE 4, 7:00-9:00pm at the NORWOOD HOTEL (112 Marion St). Friendly reminder that this meeting is mandatory for all apprentice...s, but please let us know if you have a school event/sport event/life event that prohibits you from coming to the meeting. This meeting will be both fun AND informative, so please do your best to make it out! T-shirt and badge pickup will be TUESDAY, JULY 2 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Folk Exchange (211 Bannatyne, main floor). As always this is just a drop-in, pick up your stuff, and then leave thing (aka you don't have to stay for the whole 2 hours). You will also be getting your schedules at this pick-up! Exciting! Finally, we will have our tour/meeting on site on THURSDAY, JULY 11 starting at 5:00pm sharp. Even if you've volunteered before, attendance at this meeting is essential!!! (Unless of course you are scheduled for a shift at that time). Thank you so much for your commitment to volunteer - we are so excited to see new and familiar faces at our meeting on June 4!! - Karen, Sarah, Leora, Heather
