It is with regret that the WPPB announces the cancellation of our 2020 Scotch and Cigar event. Under the current conditions the band feels that cancelling the event is the socially responsible correct decision. Our hope is that we will be able to host everyone next year at our usual (last Sunday in May) date which will be Sunday May 30th, 2021. If you have already purchased tickets you can do one of the following;... 1. Hold onto your current ticket and we will switch it out with a 2021 ticket. 2. Contact the band member you purchased from and request a refund. To qualify for a refund you must return your 2020 ticket. Thank you for your patience as we work through this very unique situation. We look forward to seeing you soon and please stay safe.

The Winnipeg Police Pipe Band is pleased to announce that we will once again be sponsoring several youth pipers and drummers from Manitoba to participate in the Saskatchewan Pipe Band Association's annual *Sound Advice Summer Camp*. This year, due to the ongoing global pandemic, all of the Sound Advice Camp instruction will be offered on line. Looking at the silver lining in this situation, we recognize that although the weeklong face-to-face experience is preferable, the on...line offering makes it financially possible for us to provide more Manitoba youth with an opportunity to experience the world class tuition available at Sound Advice.
