The Alberta influenza immunization program starts today in pharmacies for those over 5 years old! As we anticipate a busy flu shot season, here are some things that you can do to make your visit to the pharmacy as quick and painless as possible: -We are doing drop in immunizations as usual, but we encourage you to call ahead to ensure that there is not a big line up or wait in the pharmacy. If there is a wait, we may have you wait in the car and we will text you when we are r...eady for you. -Pre-register for your flu shot before coming in! Go to fluatmypharmacy.com to fill out your questionnaire. You will then save a QR code or the 12 digit number for us to enter into our system. You will have to do a self-COVID screen before coming as well. -Dress appropriately! Wear a short sleeve shirt to make it easy for our pharmacy to access your upper arm. And please wear a mask. -Come with a family member. If you've both had your flu shot before with no issues, then you can wait your standard 15 minutes in your car.
