The idea of Wisertech began during a computer science research project at the University of Victoria by our company founder, Ed Wisernig, PhD. This research has allowed us to develop technologically advanced products that are easy to use and install. Ed’s passion for adventure has led him to discover product ideas that aim to close the technological gap that exists in adventure products. Ed has experience mountaineering and sailing on local and international routes, which pairs with an extensive educational background in software engineering, philosophy and climate change modelling to make him the ideal Captain for Wisertech.
