Our Bella Coola branch recently provided a sponsorship totaling $3,000 to the Sir Alexander Mackenzie School to purchase mountain bikes that will be used in the Active Travel School pilot program. With this program, students will be completing a 6-8 week program in the spring and learning not just about riding, but also bike mechanics, technique, leadership, team building, trail building and fitness training. The benefits to participants are many including increased fitness, better focus and enhanced results in school. We're proud to be able to support this great pilot program!
