Girls night This spread was de-lish & I decided to flex my bartending skills (which are fairly non-existent) with a yummy recipe for Lavender Mint Lemonade cocktails! RECIPE: (makes 2-3 drinks) Juice of 1 lg lemon... 3 sprigs of mint 2 oz of lavender simple syrup 2 oz vodka (add more or less based on your preference!) ~Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, then shake it all up! ~Strain into glasses & top up with sparkling water! ~Optional: Add a sprig of lavender, slice of lemon, & mint leaf for garnish See more

This vehicle is such a vital part of each step of the floral process: from early morning trips to the auction, to picking up floral supplies, to running around foraging greenery, and finally to delivering the finished products to the happy clients! As we head into full blown wedding season, I get so giddy thinking about all the LOCAL blooms that will pass through my fingers this year! For me, yellow is the colour of Spring! Daffodils, forsythia, dandelions popping up, + the sun revealing itself to warm us after a long winters sleep! I also feel like yellow has become a part of my personal aesthetic. Even on the rainiest of days I feel so alive, overflowing with joyfulness + hope! (Which hasn’t always been the case until recently) Spring has sprung + so have I! PS. The gold/white geometric vases in this photo are now a part of my growing collection of rental vases! As a floral designer, I absolutely love utilizing as many different blooms/textures/foliage varieties as I can in each arrangement I create! It’s kinda become my thing, and I’m not mad at it in the slightest (Just a few featured in this arbor arrangement: dahlias, spray/roses, gomphrena, amaranthus, wax flower, Chinese aster, 3 varieties of eucalyptus, smokebush greens, and more!)

*Posting this as my power flickers on and off * As Christmas creeps closer, and the New Year is staring us all right in the face, I have reflected on the last year and everything that was in it. Each and every bride I met with always had such an incredible vision for their wedding day, and I was OVERJOYED to have their trust in bringing it to life! (THANK YOU TO ALL YOU GORGEOUS LADIES(and your gents), you know who you are!!!) I get such a thrill thinking about 2019, but... yet I am filled with so much peace and hope. So beyond excited to meet all my brides and grooms in the New Year and to get back to slingin’ flowers left and right!!
