Hope to see you out for a ride at Bull Mtn. 5km Pit area for a ride this Wednesday. We will try to leave the pits between 6-6:30 as it gets dark earlier now. The trails are cleaned up pretty good right now and the traction is great. Finally the bugs have subsided with the cooler temperatures too.

Well, we certainly used that day up! Unloading in the dark after another successful club ride on the books! A small group braved the elements and rode the new tower loop b section at Bull Mtn. Thankyou Matt Watts for leading the charge and leaving tracks in the foliage for us to follow! Steve and I tried, but couldn't catch the group. We packed the saws and got all the blow down cleared up. Braaaap!

This year has been interesting to put it plainly! Using our well practiced social distancing protocols we will be having a club tailgate meeting next Wednesday at 6:00 pm June 17th at our club pits at 5km on the Smokey mtn. FSR. The mosquitoes will keep the meeting as brief and to the point as I hope it to be. After election of directors and officers has concluded we will have a quick planning session for the upcoming season and will conclude with a casual ride of the B loop.... Please come along, bring a fellow rider and money for membership if you can swing it $20/ individual, $25/ family. Email me and I'll send you a membership form which you can print and fill out to bring along, [email protected] More now than ever before, we need your support. Tons of work was completed last year with approx. 18km+ of new trail being built at bull mtn. Thanks to the hard work of a few of the guys the trails are pretty much ready to ride, with only minor cleanup still remaining in a few areas. Signage and trail marking are among our goals for the 2020 season. Membership funds are necessary to pay our annual insurance and fees as an association. Without you, we are but a few. It will be great to see you all there.

Hi Everyone, Are you moving hesitantly towards winter wishing summer had actually been summer? Struggling to come to terms with winterizing the toys and busting out the snow shovels? I know I sure am. So to combat fall boredom and to take advantage of the last few weeks of unfrozen ground, Steve and I have decided to set a new fall tradition. "The ANTIFREEZE" ride. It will happen at 10am this Sunday, October 27th at the bull Mtn. Pits (5km on the Smokey Mtn FSR). It will be ...a club event, but please come even if you aren't a current member, and bring your friends/ family. This will be an excellent opportunity to see the 25km+ of NEW TRAILS that have recently been completed at bull mtn in partnership with Recreation BC. Although it may seem like things on a club level have been flat the past season, much work has quietly gone on behind the scenes to bring us to where we are now. THIS IS WHAT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! Club memberships will be available and we'd encourage all non members to renew their membership for $20 individual $25 family.... these dues help us purchase our annual insurance etc. Bring some dogs to burn on the fire and a can of gas. Trails available for all skill levels. Of course kids are welcome with supervision. Come out for a ride with us and thumb your nose at Jack Frost at the Antifreeze 2019! Regards, Sasha Kokesch, MET

Good evening, I would like to get the message out to all dirt bike riders that the bush behind Gun-a-Noot Rd, is just as dry as everywhere else and folks should... not be out there riding right now, realize it isn't crown land, but that won't change the way it burns or ignites. The little rain we've had the last few days has not changed that. We live right on the edge of these trails and have a new/used dirt bike that my son would love to break in, but we will not allow him out there until the danger rating drops. Would appreciate everyone getting the word out to other to do the same. Sat outside just an hour ago and listen to at least one bike racing around out there and while the chances are slim they will throw a spark it's the first time I've listened to the sound of dirt bikes with the same trepidation that I listen and watch thunder/lightning. Appreciate any help getting the word out. See more

Effective today at noon, the operation of any off-road vehicle for recreational purposes on Crown land will be prohibited throughout the Cariboo Fire Centre, Ka...mloops Fire Centre and Southeast Fire Centre. In addition, all on-highway vehicles must remain on defined road surfaces. This step is being taken to help prevent human-caused wildfires and protect public safety. The operation of any off-road vehicles in these regions during the current wildfire situation creates a potential wildfire risk. While jeeps, trucks and other on-highway vehicles are permitted on designated roads, they are not allowed off-road. The prohibition of off-road vehicles and on-highway vehicles does not apply to private lands or national parks. It also does not apply to emergency responders or to agriculture or commercial/ industrial users who operate vehicles for farming, emergency response or business purposes.
